Is nutritional yeast healthy? Any food that contains vital vitamins and minerals will always be good for your overall health.

 Nutritional Yeast contains a lot of important vitamins and minerals that the body needs. It contains all the nine essential amino acids that you need. And those nine essential amino acids are histidine, isoleucine, leucine, lysine, methionine, phenylamine, threonine, tryptophan, and valine.

  • One tablespoon of nutritional yeast contains 30-180% of B Vitamins. It is rich in thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, Vitamin B-6, and Vitamin B-12. Vitamin B-12 is needed for a healthy nervous system, DNA production and the creation of red blood cells.
  • One tablespoon of nutritional yeast contains 2-30% of the RDI for trace minerals such as zinc, selenium, manganese, and molybdenum. Trace mineral is responsible for immunity, growth, and metabolism.

How is nutritional yeast used? It can be sprinkled on soups, sauces spaghetti, salads, popcorn and no more than 1 to 2 tablespoons.
