And doing this minimizes any potential unwanted caffeine side effects. 400 mg of caffeine is equivalent to four 8 oz cups of coffee daily.
The Bottom Line is if I stop drinking coffee abruptly for a period one of the symptoms could be experiencing some form of constipation. Withdrawal symptoms are common to happen within 24 to 48 hours after stopping caffeine consumption.
