How to lose water weight in a day? One of the best ways to rid water from the body is exercise.  Any form of exercise will heighten sweat and the result is more water loss.  Another option to increase sweat and lose water is doing the sauna. If you increase your potassium consumption it will help you lose water. And some potassium foods are fruits and vegetables. And those foods are potatoes, apricots, bananas, tomatoes, and broccoli.

Other good sources of potassium are kidney beans, lentils, chicken, seafood, and dairy products. Potassium is a critical electrolyte that helps to balance fluid. Potassium can increase urine production and counteract the effects of sodium.

There was a small study where drinking 6 cups of coffee or 537 milligrams of caffeine significantly increased urine production. In the same study they drank only 3 cups of coffee and there was no change in urine production.

Studies show that caffeine has a mild diuretic effect, but other research studies show that it doesn’t lead to dehydration in regular coffee consumers.
