What is the best tea for stomach ache? Green Tea has been shown through research to help relieve bloating, stomach problems, and nausea. There was a study that was done on about 42 people that showed that the group of people that drank green tea saw a significant reduction in diarrhea. In some animal studies it did show that green tea and its ingredients has been shown to treat stomach ulcers.

Another type of tea is ginger tea that can help reduce gas, bloating, cramps, and indigestion. Ginger tea is made by boiling ginger root in water. Peppermint Tea is also another tea that has been shown to reduce stomach pain. There was a one-month study that showed that 54 people who took 75 mg of licorice extract twice daily significantly decreased indigestion. In terms of licorice tea, you should also limit it to 1 cup per day.

Spearmint Tea is another form of tea that can help improve stomach pain, bloating and diarrhea. The best way to make spearmint tea is to boil 1 cup of water and a handful of spearmint leaves. Steep for 5 minutes and then strain and serve the tea.

Basil Tea  also is a type of tea that can help reduce the pain of an upset stomach. There have been animal studies that have shown that holy basil can helps protect against stomach ulcers, stomach pain, nausea, bloating. Although these are not human studies it does give some data to use and implement for future human studies.
