How to get rid of bruises?  Here are 8 things to do to get rid of bruises.

One of the first things to do to get of rid bruises is applying ice therapy. You should apply ice immediately to the bruise to help reduce blood flow to the area. This helps to prevent the bruise from having excessive swelling. You would apply an ice bag to the wound or bruise for like 10 minutes at a time.

The second thing to do is to apply heat to the wound and this will help boost circulation and blood flow. If you apply heat, it can help relieve pain and loosen the tension in the muscle. You can use a heating pad, a hot water bottle or soak your body in a hot bath.

The third thing to do is you need to wrap the bruised area in a bandage and squeeze the tissues to help prevent blood vessels from leaking. This compression can help relieve the pain and swelling.

The fourth thing to do is to elevate the bruised area above the heart. This can help relieve pain and drain fluid from the bruised area. Doing this can also help drain fluid from the bruised area.

The fifth tip is Vitamin K, and this can help with blood clotting. In a small 2002 study it was shown to reduce the severity of bruising. If you apply twice a day to the area it can help.

The sixth tip is Vitamin C and Vitamin C has anti-inflammatory properties that can help promote wound healing. You can take this as a supplement or consume this in fruits or vegetables.

The seventh tip is Aloe Vera which is a gel that can help reduce pain and inflammation. And lastly the eighth tip is a plant called comfrey that is known to treat inflammation.  You can apply the comfrey a couple times a day to the wound or bruise.

The Bottom Line is bruises takes a couple of weeks to heal. And one of the best way to heal the bruise is to rest it or to apply ice or heat intermittently.
