What are the health benefits of cold showers? A cold shower is any shower that is below a temperature under 70 Fahrenheit. And some studies have shown it can potentially help improve symptom relief. There was a small clinical trial that showed that taking a cold shower improved patients that had depression. The people that took a shower in this clinical trial did it for 5 minutes about 2 to 3 times a week.
