Does drinking water flush out your system? The healthiest beverage you can ever drink would be water. One of the most important nutrients your body needs is water. Your body contains about 60 to 70% of water and these bodily fluids are needed for digestion, absorption, transportation of nutrients, circulation, and maintenance of body temperature.

Drinking water regularly is one of the best appetite suppressants you can ever do. In fact, I advise my clients to make drinking water a permanent staple in their lifestyle because it will make you eat less food and consume less calories. And eating less food and consuming less calories results into weight loss.

  • There was another study in 2005 in the American Journal of Gastroenterology that stated drinking water can help treat constipation.

Those fiber foods are fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, and whole grains. How much water should you drink per day? About 6 to 8 glasses of water per day will improve your overall health as well as help with weight management.
