What is interesting about that survey is that online live and on-demand exercise classes fell to no 9 for 2022. In 2021 online live and on demand exercise classes was the #1 fitness trend. And that is easy to figure out why because of the start of covid-19 pandemic.
And when all the fitness gyms were closed temporarily. Many people were trying to figure out how can they exercise at home since the gyms were closed. So virtual workouts at that peak pandemic time were in extreme high demand.
People that love these wearable technology devices want to know the calorie burn; they want to know what their heart rate is during their workout. Or they want to know what their resting heart rate is. And it also tracks your route by way of GPS tracking, and it tells you how many steps you did in a day. And it tracks how many calories you burn in day just by regular day to day activity independent of a fitness workout. Wearable technology will always be popular, and the technology gets better and better every year in terms of all the fitness data it can track. So, it is no surprise it is the #1 fitness trend for 2022 in the fitness industry.
How do you choose the right fitness gym for you?
- Is the location near you so you do not have a drive a long distance to work out?
- Are the gym hours broad and wide which will allow you either workout early or workout late? Does the gym have childcare if you need a place for your child to stay while you are doing a workout?
- Is the gym clean and does the staff make sure everything is wiped down completely? Gym cleanliness is important especially during these pandemic times.
- Is the staff at the gym nice and friendly and do they treat their members with respect as that is important?
Those are things to consider when trying to find the right fitness gym for you.
